I would have to say this will be one of the easiest reviews that I have done to date. The shirt/pants and hat that I received from FIELDS EDGE was the “Ground stuff “pattern and it immediately impressed me with the natural blend of colors. It seemed that it would be a near perfect match for Alberta’s aspen parklands where I live.
The fit was just right and there was lots of room for movement in the legs and upper body. I particularly liked the large and abundant pockets that are on the pants. The adjustable waist and ribbon leg ties made the pants comfortable to wear while walking, kneeling and sitting.
It is usually hard to evaluate the effectiveness of a camo pattern that you are wearing as you can not see how well you blend in to your surroundings, so we ask our friends for an opinion. Naturally they tell us “its great!” ”Blends in perfectly”. This is not always so because a friend is not likely to be completely honest when asked to judge a new camo suit that you just purchased.
After getting the expected response I had the opportunity to have some photos taken of myself, sporting my new camo suit. I arrived home and began downloading the days pictures when I had the opportunity to see for myself just how well the “GROUND STUFF” blended into the bare trees and dried leaves and grasses. The level of concealment is terrific. I am sure that had I been wearing a facemask and gloves I would blend in perfectly.
This camo has a definite advantage over other suits that I have worn and observed. The lightweight and breathable cotton/poly blend is almost invisible in the woods where I hunt. The following photos were taken as I walked along the edge of an alfalfa field this spring. I definitely will be hunting in FIELDS EDGE “GROUND STUFF” this fall. This is a good product worth purchasing and I recommend this camo.

I was totaly impressed with the Fields Edge "GROUND STUFF" this year while moose hunting in western Alberta.While wearing it I stalked to within 40 yards of several cow moose to sharpen my stalking skills.I also was able to get into bowrange and take a velvet antlered 14 point bull.He never saw me at all. even when I thought I had been busted in the open when he turned his head my way. After a long night and morning of field dressing and packing I was surprised at how little the blood showed on our camo and even more pleased when it washed clean without a stain. Great camo FIELDS EDGE, Thanks for helping make the season a succesful one.
THE SEASON STARTED WELL FOR ME THIS YEAR WHEN I WAS ABLE TO STALK OVER QUITE OPEN TERRAIN TO BOWRANGE AND ARROW THIS NICE VELVET MOOSE. HERE ARE A COUPLE SHOTS SHOWING JUST HOW GOOD THE FIELDS EDGE GROUND STUFF BLENDS INTO THE WOODS,EVEN IN EARLY SEASON.
