TEST RESULTS FOR G5 "MONTEC 125 GRAIN BROADHEADS
These are the new kid on the block and are sure to be the one to watch.G5 has made a broadhead that stands in a class by itself. Their patented monoflow technology has created possibly the strongest broadhead ever made .The cast stainless steel one piece head is a beautiful example of our latest technology. It is a true 3 blade cut to the tip broadhead that has incredible strength.

No more need for those expensive angled sharpeners, these can be sharpened on any flat stone! The unique angles allow 2 blades to lay on the stone at a time giving a perfect bevel every time from point to the end of the blades.

I had the oportunity to test the montec 125 recently and as you have already read I was impressed! The samples I received were spin tested and spun perfectly, next I weighed them and they were within 1/2 a grain.{437 grains per ounce}

Yesterday I was at the outdoor range and decided to give them a real test. they were shot from a single cam compound set at 76# chronographing at 290 fps. Flight was as I usually get from most fixed blade broadheads. Dead on! Next I decided to see if the cast technology would stand up to some punishment. I took a frozen asapen stump that was full of knots, and had a twisted grain and launched an arrow at it from 6 feet. The impact whiped the noc out of the shaft and burried the broadhead almost 3 " into the stump on the edge of a large knot. Retrieving the head was a task to say the least! It took a 20 pound sledge hammer to beat the spliting maul thru the stump to make the recovery. I was impressed to say the least, this bad boy was still perfect!The blades were straight and absolutely no sign of any damage.A spin test later proved the initial observation.

I hope to try these new broadheads on moose and deer later, but this is February and hunting season is still a long way off. I definately recommend the 125 grain G5 MONTEC AS ONE TOUGH RELIABLE BROADHEAD.
